As we enter the Base Era, many based builders are creating memes with the hopes of cultivating strong communities, driving onchain activity, and bringing the world onchain.This trend shows no sign of slowing down. That’s why Base God is kicking off Onchain Summer by hosting the first Base Meme Summit: Building Memes in the Base Era. What to expect This live event will feature a keynote from Jesse Pollak, creator of Base, and a panel discussion with builders from these OG Base meme communities:ToshiMochiAll Your BaseDegenThe topics covered during the summit offer a behind-the-scenes look at what it truly takes to build a successful meme on Base. Hear honest reflections that can inspire you to adopt a based mindset as you embark on building your own meme community. Panelists will also share what they’re building for Onchain Summer and opportunities to participate. Lastly, audience members will have a chance to win fun prizes! How to watch The summit takes place Thursday, June 6 from 16:00 - 18:00 UTC (check time zones) and will be live streamed on Twitter by @tybasegod. What is Onchain Summer?
