# Bedrock Introduces Unstaking Feature for uniBTC on Ethereum

The long-awaited unstaking feature is finally here, giving Bedrock users more control over their assets. Starting now, you can easily unstake your uniBTC on the Ethereum network—an upgrade built to meet community demand. This launch marks another milestone in Bedrock’s mission to empower its community with tools that prioritize flexibility, simplicity, and security.

uniBTC Unstaking Details at a Glance
====================================

*   **Fee**  
    A 0.5% fee applies to all unstaking transactions _(subject to future adjustment)_.
    
*   **Limits**  
    Minimum amount to unstake: 0.0001 BTC; maximum: 10 BTC.
    
*   **Processing Time**  
    uniBTC unstaking will take approximately 8 days.
    
*   **Rewards Update**  
    Once you initiate unstaking, you will stop earning rewards on the specified assets.

Unstaking uniBTC takes 8 days to process, during which your selected wrapped BTC will be unlocked. Once the unlock period is complete, you can claim your tokens by transferring them to your wallet. Bedrock guarantees a 1:1 ratio between uniBTC and the selected wrapped BTC.

How to Unstake Your uniBTC
==========================

Follow these steps to unstake your uniBTC through Bedrock’s dApp:

1.  Visit the Bedrock dApp and head to the Products tab.
    
2.  [Choose uniBTC](https://app.bedrock.technology/unibtc), then navigate to the Unstake tab.
    
3.  Connect your wallet and select the Ethereum network.
    
4.  Enter the amount of uniBTC you wish to unstake (minimum: 0.0001 BTC, maximum: 10 BTC).
    
5.  Hit the “Unstake” button and confirm the transaction.
    

That’s it! Once your uniBTC is unstaked, you can easily manage your assets across networks.
