# Solana meme coins still alive and pumping 🚀

🔎 After the hype around airdrops and shields, the Solana narrative seemed to be fading. But in fact, several legit projects with confirmed drops remain, and shields keep pumping.

I don't cover shields much, but let's look at one - NEVER ([**https://neversol.xyz/**](https://neversol.xyz/)) on Solana.

❓ At first glance, another meme coin, but there's more to it. First, they have clever marketing, saying "Never buy $NEVER and never say never", which crypto degens eat up, pumping the price.

Second, it listed on MEXC ([**https://www.mexc.com/exchange/NEVER\\\\\_USDT**](https://www.mexc.com/exchange/NEVER%5C%5C_USDT)), an achievement for a Solana shield. Market cap is $20 million, still low for a shield with marketing.

⚡️ Third, it's backed by known marketer Gotbit who likes pumping these. So the big move could be ahead. DYOR of course, it's risky.

There's also an airdrop coming for $NEVER holders, and shield drops can be lucrative.

So a risky but potentially profitable pump token that could easily run more. Other Solana shields are still active too, so the mania isn't fully over yet.
