# Building the X4A Marketplace

### The Night It Clicked

It was **3:17 AM, January 2025**. I was in a Discord voice channel with 3 other degens, 2 Red Bulls deep, staring at a failed PDA escrow. The buyer wallet wouldn’t sign. Again. Someone said:

### Why I’m Doing This

Because the internet **deserves better** than ads, subscriptions, and KYC hell. Because **agents should pay agents**. Because **Solana is the only chain that can scale this**.

I’m not here to shill. I’m here to **ship**.
