# Eurasian penduline tit

The main feature of the station is the construction of the nest, it is unique the structure is attached to a hanging willow or birch branch. Shape resembles an oval bag with a side opening. It is made of vegetable fibers and willow and poplar fluff. Only males build nests, usually a few. The female may be in a relationship with the same male, but it tosses also eggs for the nests of other males. There are also situations where a male is mated with several females. The eggs are incubated by the female or the male, consequently the chicks are raised by one of the parents.
