# Announcing Escape Velocity Season 7

After the successful completion of Season 6, we’re beyond excited to kick off Escape Velocity Season 7! This season comes packed with an **8,000,000 veBLACK rebate rewards** pool, empowering our community, fueling engagement, and unlocking even more opportunities across the Blackhole ecosystem.

Rules for Season 7
------------------

The rules for Season 7 remain unchanged:

1.  Total Rebate Rewards Pool: **8,000,000 veBLACK**
    
2.  A minimum lock of **2000 veBLACK** is required to qualify.
    
3.  Only **Supermassive locks** count toward eligibility as long as minimum thresholds are met and its created **during** the active Season.
    
4.  Rebates are capped at **10% of the total pool per wallet**, encouraging wider participation and fair distribution.
    
5.  Rebates will continue to be distributed as **Supermassive NFTs airdropped directly to qualifying wallets**.
    
6.  Locks transferred between wallets will credit the rebate to the wallet performing the locking, ensuring fairness.
