# How to Create an Ad on Blockpedia

Step 1: Navigate to Ads

Visit blockpedia.xyz/ads and click **“Connect Wallet.”**

This will link your wallet to the ad platform so you can create, submit, and manage ads on-chain.

Step 2: Create a New Ad
-----------------------

Click **“Create New Ad”** in the top right.

Add your ad content in the editor box. This should be a short, clear, and informative description of your project, product, or service.

Once ready, hit **Submit**.

Step 3: Set Your Bid
--------------------

You’ll now see the **Bid Management** section. This is where you choose which article(s) your ad should appear on and how much you're willing to bid.

You have two options:

### 🔹 Display Ad on All Articles

Check the box to apply a global bid across Blockpedia. Enter a **bid price** (in tokens) for how much you’re willing to pay per impression.

### 🔹 Target Specific Articles

Scroll down to **“Create New Bid”** and enter the **Article ID** of the page you want to target (found in the article URL). Set your bid for that article.

Example:If the article URL is `https://blockpedia.xyz/article/307/`, the article ID is `307`.

Click **Create Bid** to confirm.

Step 4: Manage and Preview Your Ad
----------------------------------

After submitting, your ad will appear under your **Ad Dashboard**, showing:

*   Ad content preview
    
*   Wallet address
    
*   Status (Under Review, Approved, or Rejected)
    
*   Account balance
    

Once approved, your ad will begin displaying to users on the targeted articles or site-wide — depending on your bid settings.

Step 5: Track and Adjust
------------------------

You can update your bid price, pause ads, or change content at any time. Just revisit your ad dashboard and make edits as needed.
