# BlockyBulls' Rising

Back in Action!  
Returning from a short break and excited to share that the building continues.

Where is the Bull?
------------------

In an effort to boost the visibility of the project, I reached out to OpenSea about the BlockyBulls collection's absence from the top PFPs collection on Base.

Surprisingly, it seems there are some mysterious factors at play. Despite other collections with no volume making the cut, we're still working our way up.  
This shows that even if you show up everyday and have a growing volume, you can remain invisible if major platforms don't shine their spotlight on you.

But here's the thing, BlockyBulls thrive on challenges!  
I can say with confidence that the pixelated herd will charge its way onto those top leaderboards.

It's not a matter of if, but when.

So keep those hooves stomping and those horns sharp!  
We're about to show the NFT world what real bullish determination looks like!

A New Floor and Rising Volume
-----------------------------

Speaking of working our way up, I'm happy to announce that BlockyBulls has reached a new floor price of 0.0004 ETH!

While this might seem small, this is another milestone.  
Even more exciting is our volume, which is on the verge of hitting 1 ETH.

For a collection with such an accessible price point, this is no small feat.  
Higher we go!

The BlockyBullsBot
------------------

One of our community members had a great idea, create a **𝕏** bot to track OpenSea buys. On the community Discord there already is bot thanks to the Indexer team, now adding this to **𝕏** will help the project reach even more people!

The journey to create this bot was a learning experience in itself.  
Initially, I experimented with Alchemy webhooks and serverless functions, but ran into some limitations.  
So it was time to invest in a dedicated server that would be up 24/7, listening to OpenSea events.  
It's currently running as the BlockyBullsBot, and I'm excited to see how I can leverage this new server in the future.

The OG Custom Background App
----------------------------

In the spirit of continuous improvement, the CustomBackground app has been updated to fetch NFTs owned directly from OpenSea.

This change addresses the limitations faced with the NFTDrop contract used for BlockyBulls, which didn't have a straightforward method for listing owned assets.

Previously, the app had to loop through all 5,5k items in the collection, which was time consuming and bumped up against ThirdWeb API limitations.

The new version is significantly faster and more convenient, paving the way for future projects.

What about the Game?
--------------------

While there's no major update on the small game, hope to get back at it very soon.  
Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks!

New Horizons for the Herd
-------------------------

As we continue to grow, I'm exploring new ways to create content and contribute to the broader ecosystem:

1.  **Weekly Base Ecosystem Updates**  
    Thinking of the right format for these updates, aiming to seamlessly integrate them with BlockyBulls. The goal is to launch the first edition next weekend.
    
2.  **Weekly Small Projects**  
    This week, I'm setting my sights on a Warpcast integration. One idea is to create a Crypto Fear and Greed Indicator represented by a BlockyBull.  
    This daily updated indicator could be easily shared, adding a touch of BlockyBulls to the market sentiment.
