# The new Paragraph: Meet your agent

By [Paragraph](https://paragraph.com/@blog), 2026-07-07

Writing has never been easier, but gaining and keeping attention has never been harder. Today, most time as a writer is no longer spent on the actual writing, it's spent on all the surrounding tasks: editing & formatting, re-purposing & sharing to social, managing discovery, and increasing the odds of being shown by LLMs & search engines.

Our team has been thinking about what a modern publishing platform would look like, one that took advantage of all the new tools to help with the tedious, time-consuming but valuable tasks around writing and publishing. The new Paragraph is a step in that direction, helping writers with all the increasingly important tasks surrounding their writing.

What's new
----------

Every publication now has access to an agent that can help with a wide range of tasks across writing, editing, publishing and growth. The agent is trained on best practices and tailored to your publication. It works with you to understand your goals, writing style, and comfort zone with boundaries & permissions, then helps with all the important parts of publishing.

We've seen early pilot writers working with their agent in really powerful ways:

* **The daily editorial co-pilot.** One of our heaviest power users built a editing & polishing loop to help them keep up with a daily publishing cadence. They draft the post, then the agent helps research and edit the post, look through the archive to cross-reference published posts & ideas, and generate images and put the final touches to prepare for publishing.

* **Your own personal "Head of Social".** More than half of all new users connect at least one social account during their first session, then ask the agent to help share their writing to various social platforms. Some writers ask the agent to re-purpose their recent posts, turning them into compelling tweets or short videos they can share. Other writers ask the agent to share ideas & scripts for short videos, then they record the video themselves.

* **Bulk optimization (SEO & Sponsors).** A couple writers had the agent audit their entire archive to identify key SEO fixes, then shared noticeable gains in traffic after the changes. Other writers used the agent to swap out sponsor placements across hundreds of posts, opening up the possibility to pitch sponsors on site-wide placement instead of only new posts.

Continuous improvement
----------------------

To make this really useful, your agent needs to keep working while you're away. That's a big reason why we built Suggestions as a core part of the new Paragraph, shifting the ongoing burden of work toward the agent.

Each day, your agent will proactively send you an email with ready-to-execute growth suggestions, like homepage design tweaks, SEO recommendations, draft posts to share to social, and various other ideas aimed at helping you reach your goals.

The more permissions and integrations you approve, the larger the sandbox your agent has to run experiments and find new ways to drive your publication toward your goals. You're always in complete control of the agent and can update permissions & connections at any time in your settings.

Better analytics
----------------

We've also shipped major improvements to [analytics in the new Paragraph experience](https://app.paragraph.com/blog/analytics?period=daily&tab=web&utm_source=blog&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=launch_assistant), including tracking for any connected social accounts, your newsletter, and how much traffic you're getting from search and AI products.

Build any site, your way
------------------------

The web is moving away from rigid, static templates where your only design choice is selecting from a handful of preset fonts. We believe the future is prompt-to-build, where you can describe what you want and have it built instantly.

Now, you can [start from a refined theme](https://paragraph.com/themes?utm_source=blog&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=launch_assistant) or have your agent design, lay out, and code a custom site from scratch. It's fully yours, down to the last detail. No more static or inflexible templates - just a fast, beautiful home for your work.

Best of all, your custom site runs on Paragraph’s highly performant, globally-distributed publishing infrastructure. Instantly responsive and SEO-optimized, this is the same battle-tested engine trusted to reach millions of readers every month.

An agent with its own computer
------------------------------

To build something that actually takes tedious chores off your plate, we gave your agent its own isolated computer.

This means it has full internet access, can install packages on the fly, write custom scripts, crawl public websites or X for real-time research, connect with third party tools natively, and execute deep data analysis on your metrics. Instead of just generating text, it's running real code in its own secure environment to solve problems for you. And because the system learns from every execution and interaction, your agent is constantly improving and expanding its capacity to handle complex, open-ended workflows.
