NFTs fell off.Early collectors acted as investors. The more gimmicky the drop, the better. Music NFTs haven’t had their Bored Ape moment. So now we’re here. In limbo. To the average person NFTs are goofy, confusing, and even shady. I’ve only recently been able to separate my gratitude to this community with my alignment on the general perception of it. The notion that the world we’ve built is about art is bullshit. It’s about novelty. Art comes second. Until we can open this up to the rest of the world in a compelling and welcoming way, I’ve decided to play the game as it exists currently. But let’s be honest about what this is about.CURRENCYCURRENCY is 4 song project that entitles collectors to onchain royalties. They will be released as open editions at 0.01 ETH running for 3 days using Sound Swap.On May 26th the first song titled SEPUKU will drop. Collectors will receive 20% of the primary and secondary sales of the next 3 songs from CURRENCY. Before the next upload, a snapshot will be taken of all collectors of SEPUKU. These addresses will be allocated a pro-rata share of 20% of the earnings from UNFAMILIAR BONES, BASe iNStinCts and UNDO. Collectors will all be added to a 0xSplits contract, and that Splits contract address will be included on the splits of each subsequent song on CURRENCY. UNFAMILIAR BONES will drop next. Followed by Base Instincts and then UNDO. Similar to SEPUKU, collectors of UNFAMILIAR BONES will receive 10% of the earnings from BASe iNStinCts and UNDO. Then, collectors of BASe iNStinCts will receive 10% of the earnings from UNDO. So - by the end of CURRENCY, 40% of the earnings from UNDO will be going to existing collectors. But, it doesn’t stop there.Curator CampaignThe top 3 curators of every song will share in 5% of the proceeds of the next song.Simply share your referral link and get people to collect CURRENCY to win. The top curators of SEPUKU will earn 5% of UNFAMILIAR BONES. The top curators of UNFAMILIAR BONES will earn 5% of BASe iNStinCts. The top curators of BASe iNStinCts will earn 5% of UNDO.
