### **Weekly Random Acts of Evolution**

This week, talking to my therapist, we had a conversation about the nature of people and dealing with the ebbs and flows of our fickle emotions. Her homework to me was to do a word study on the word “**Fickle**”. Therefore, I ran to Chat-GPT, and here’s what it came up with:

“**_The word "fickle" is an adjective that describes a person or thing that is inconsistent, unreliable, or changeable. It comes from the Old English word "ficol" which means deceitful or treacherous._**

**_Some synonyms for "fickle" include: capricious, erratic, unstable, vacillating, mercurial, unpredictable, and whimsical. Antonyms for "fickle" include: consistent, dependable, reliable, and steadfast._**

**_Overall, the word "fickle" connotes a sense of unreliability or unpredictability, suggesting that something or someone cannot be counted on to remain constant or steadfast over time._**

Though words like “deceitful” or “treacherous” could seem rather harsh. It is true that human nature leans more towards unreliability considering how we consume internal and external influences that drive and change the way we think on a daily basis.

In fact, it is actually more work for us to be dependable and steadfast especially when it may go against how we are feeling at the moment. Hence the need for quotes like “**Just push through it**”.

We are rather interesting indeed. Even if you consider all the recent trends of being more human and not beating up on oneself so much, this all lends itself more to the concept of being fickle. Whether or not, one may feel this can be negative, it is also our power to be able to adjust as we grow. I am no longer the “consistently X” kid I was when I was younger so those traits have grown “unpredictable” and I am now moving differently.

Understanding this is key and should be treated with balance as the idea of being fickle doesn’t always come with an understanding of one’s own decision so we need to consider both if we are to progress ahead.

### **Between Space and Time**

This week's tech exploration is near and dear to my heart. **Salesforce** released their **Web 3 CRM** platform and after months of testing and supporting the launch in the backend, I am relieved that I can start to talk about it. To date, Salesforce is the world’s leading platform for CRM (Customer Relationship Management), so this is big for enterprise Web 2 Brands who now want to enter the Web 3 space and see how they can continue to grow their customer data. This is exactly the challenge that **Salesforce** **Web 3 CRM** solves for them. You can read the full release details [**here**](https://www.salesforce.com/products/web3/overview/), but below are some of my favorite features:

* **NFT Management** - Create an NFT collection in little to no time with NFT Management. Using Salesforce’s audited contracts, brands don’t need to have custom contracts to create tokens. In addition to Salesforce’s existing Flow/Marketing Cloud features, triggers can be even put in place to trigger airdrop as different data is updated on the platform.

* **NFT Commerce** - Under the covers of some of your favorite e-commerce sites is Salesforce. NFT Commerce allows brands to incorporate NFTs and Wallets into their shopping experiences. Tokens can be enabled for payment by fiat or crypto. In addition, special rewards or parts of the shopping experience can be token-gated creating exclusivity for those holding a given NFT.

* **Web 3 Connect** - This might be my favorite because of its ease for brands to be able to import their Web 3 data from the blockchain even if the contract was launched without Salesforce. This is huge for any major brand that has already stepped out into this space previously and may not have had the tools to retrieve and make sense of this Web 3 data.

This is exactly the power of Salesforce Web 3 CRM. It is not only about the ability to create and launch collections but also the ability to gain insights and make informed decisions from a platform that already handles this part of the equation so well. As this space grows, I am excited to see how this platform evolves as well so stay tuned.

### **Aesthetics of the week**

Midjourney v5 is out this week and I have a lot of testing to do. In the meantime, check out some of the advancements below.

### **Chaotic Explorations**

This week I was doing some research on the success of Red Bull as a brand and found this informative article on the power of its [**marketing**](https://buildd.co/marketing/redbull-marketing-strategy):

Also, check out this video highlighting the same and an article I previously wrote on this subject [**here**](https://47balance.substack.com/p/moving-products-through-games-c32040fd56d2).

**Noodle on this for a second!** What are 5 different dishes you can make with ramen noodles? **Chef Nova** is here to share some of her favorites.

**Noodle Recipes from Chef Nova**

1. Shoyu Ramen: This is a classic Japanese ramen that features a soy sauce-based broth. It typically includes sliced pork, scallions, nori, and a soft-boiled egg.

2. Tonkotsu Ramen: This is a rich and creamy ramen that features a pork bone-based broth. It typically includes chashu (braised pork belly), wood ear mushrooms, scallions, and a soft-boiled egg.

3. Miso Ramen: This is a flavorful ramen that features a miso-based broth. It typically includes ground pork, corn, bean sprouts, and a soft-boiled egg.

4. Tsukemen Ramen: This is a dipping-style ramen where the noodles are served separately from the broth. The noodles are typically thicker and chewier than regular ramen noodles, and the broth is often very concentrated for dipping. Popular toppings include chashu, bamboo shoots, and soft-boiled eggs.

5. Vegetarian Ramen: This is a ramen that is made without any meat. The broth can be vegetable-based or miso-based, and the toppings can include tofu, mushrooms, corn, and various vegetables such as bok choy or spinach.

### **Chaotic Vibrations**

This week’s vibrations are from “**Tall Black Guy**”. I got introduced to his music about 2 years ago and did some revisiting this week. Check out this smooth jam.

Enjoy!

Until next time, keep on seeking balance!
