I want to share some tools that can help you determine 1) if your delegate is not performing as well as expected, and 2) how to find a new delegate.

In the video, I mention three sources:

* The [Governance Analytics Dashboard by Curia](https://optimism.curiahub.xyz/)

* [Token House Participation and Incentives Report by SEED Latam](https://gov.optimism.io/t/token-house-participation-and-incentives-season-5-cycle-16-19/7852)

* [GovScore](https://govscore.xyz/delegates), a platform for discovering quality underrepresented Optimism delegates

Last month, the Foundation shared a “[Delegate Resignation Process](https://gov.optimism.io/t/delegate-resignation-process/8127)” that outlines good practices when a delegate decides to step down. If your delegate shares a long-term resignation, you can use these tools to find a new delegate.

**Why Redelegation is Crucial**

* Redelegation ensures that decision-making and governance processes continue smoothly

* For decisions to be valid, a quorum must be met

* Redelegation keeps tokens active within the governance framework

* A well-defined redelegation process makes the system resilient to changes and turnovers

I hope you find this video helpful. If you did, please consider minting this entry as an NFT.
