Will they come back? Will they miss the environment we’ve created?

These are the kind of questions DAO practitioners need to spend a lot of time thinking about.

Drawing people in to your discord with the right words and influential connections is easy… but not enough to cultivate a thriving ecosystem.

People don’t keep coming back to alcohol anonymous because it’s easy to join.  
Raving sports fans don’t dedicate their life to a club just because it’s cool.  
Satisfied employees don’t work at Zappos just because it’s a paycheck.  
Special forces teams wouldn’t join their brothers in arms on the front line again and again because it’s fun.

These people go back to those environments because they bare a meaningful emotional weight that is very difficult to find elsewhere.

What meaningful emotional weight is your DAO cultivating?
