− cryptocurrency is a universal means of payment on the world stage, as well as a purchasing tool and an expression of public wealth;

− can measure the value of all goods, services and assets;

− becomes a means of saving and accumulating the capital of individuals, providing its owner with any receipt of goods or services;

− can act as a means of payment for goods and services.

From the above, it can be concluded that cryptocurrency can perform the functions inherent in money, provided that the state recognizes this type of currency and its mass distribution in circulation.
