# Nurturing the infinite garden

The concept of the infinite garden is what initially brought many people to Ethereum.

This is the core, the essence of the seemingly utopian concept that we can organise societies in a better way. We won’t get into The DAO here today but that mirage of a diverse ecosystem of individuals and organisations that build and grow is something that we can all help to manifest again. It is starting to happen again now with people new to the ecosystem.

What often gets lost in the narrative around Ethereum is that its essentially a massively open protocol for human coordination and incentivisation.

Búan want to reward and incentivise as many people as possible optimising for biodiversity in whatever way they like. Leverage our reporting to apply for other schemes also when you share your location with us. We don’t charge, there are no fees ever including on Artizen.

Búan is now open to anyone optimising for biodiversity - we want as many people to get in our fund as possible - fill it up. The only requirement is that the work you do is in Ireland. Get set up on Artizen and show us what you got, we want to welcome volunteers, land stewards and others from organisations with a reasonable track record of having a positive impact on our biosphere.

Particularly if we completed a report on your area - we want you in there. We covered nearly five hundred hectares across seven properties and we really look forward to seeing more of you. We want to evolve together with you to build a vibrant and diverse network optimising for biodiversity.

So .. what are you waiting for? Even if you do not want to avail of the funding that is available it’s a great way of promoting what you are doing to a new audience and if you share your location with us we will complete a report on the qualifying interests of nearby conservation areas and more. We will also connect you with the resources needed for planting and protecting what you have planted or even just advise you where welcome.

Coordination is a game, but not one that is played to win. Coordination is more like tending a garden, where one works only that the garden may continue to thrive. It’s a good game, come join us.

Incase you are in Dublin this month we will be on a panel talking about the project. Check out the link below and get yourself a ticket. Some remarkable people will be there and its sure to demystify what exactly Ethereum is.
