Yes, I'm back after three months of summer break on the beaches of Bulgaria, where I was "working and having fun" with tourists (think beach bars, hotels) and a young team of travel enthusiasts. Anyway, it was a great summer without screen time and inconsequential chats on X or at crypto conferences. I'm very happy and grateful that I could step out of our (tech and web3) bubble for several months and observe and experience life the non-tech people live. Life where they only really care about technology if it helps them live their lives better. Whether at work, at home, or while travelling. Technology for those who don't work in technology means one of 3 thingsproductivity tool, entertainment tool, additional stress of learning something new.No non-tech user cares about how "that thing works and what rails it uses to do the thing." They only care if that helps them to do the thing they hired it for. (check Jobs To Be Done - JTBD). I'm saying it because even though I have always been aware of it and I repeat it a lot, it shocked me how much true it still is and how much we, meaning us working in tech and crypto especially, are blinded by our own wishful thinking that someone else cares. My long-term goal with BuildBetter is to help at least 1 million (web3) builders (aka technical founders) to build better projects, teams, and businesses. Better means several non-technical things, and it starts with more users, more growth, more excitement, all done in (ideally) a profitable way! That’s what I want for you and the world. Because profitable products mean users/customers love them and can’t live without them, otherwise they wouldn’t pay to use them.I consider my writing, videos, consulting, and fractional work all part of the same vision. Obviously, content scales much better than my working hours. That's why I want to thank you so much for being here and for possibly sharing some relevant pieces with your colleagues or friends who might find them useful. I've been writing this for quite some time, so I think this is a good moment to review and highlight some of the pieces carrying topics that you might want to revisit as we speed up towards the end of 2025. I've grouped them under four themes - Sales and people behaviour, Playbook and frameworks, Communicating your message, and Macro views. Hopefully it helps your orientation.
