# Purchasing caetano.eth

I’ve been looking to purchase caetano.eth in the past week. I’ve been keeping an eye out for the “best time to buy” (knowing that surely there isn’t really a best time other than as soon as possible).

What has caught my attention is the Gas fees (mind you, I’m new in this crypto world):

1.  The gas fees are high. Purchasing the ENS for 10 years is still ~33% of the one-time transaction gas fee.
    
2.  Within the span of minutes the gas fee is highly volatile. Going from 92 gwei to 105; down to 84 up to 105. And this has a significant effect on the total purchase price. I’m trying to time the best moment. See if I can purchase the transaction at a Gwei <84. We’ll see.
