**What is NervaCoin?**
----------------------

NERVA (XNV) is a private and secure [cryptocurrency](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cryptocurrency) that you can mine on your computer

It’s GPU and ASIC resistant and stays true to Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision of 1 CPU = 1 VOTE

NERVA offers true privacy and tangibility, is totally untraceable and unlinkable, with users and transfer amounts hidden from the public

**My Opinion**

Crypto is fun but dangerous if you invest. its high risk and high reward.I have never looked at crypto as a way of decentralising money but decentralising and validatingany online transaction, trade or ownership. and we have yet to see the power of what a blockchain canachieve both commercially and personally.

Its fun to mine gather coins, contribute towards the community and evan make a few cash here and there. ButAgain it is just a side learning option for me, the same with any coin. I believe I won’t be truly investeduntill the day comes where we will be looking into using this technology within our devices as a way to get thempassing and speaking between each other. validating contracts, ownership and more.

**My Nerva Contributions**

I started developing a Standalone Nerva app. This was difficult due to the technology used which was RPC running nodejsThen every device had to be running a node with a fully synced chain.

The community at Nerva never believed on hosting a public nodes with access to multiple rpc’s and connecting via apito peaples devices as this is not decentralised and someone is running this service.

I built the app using angular, the Node had to be run on a local machine. (Preferably Rasberry PI) and validatied to the deviceby entering your connection details (this limited the use of newcommers and mobile users) here was the result:

I also created a app for my Smartwatch to keep an eye on the trend and created a bot to auto buy and sell coins on the tradeogre exchange
