I recently updated my art bio for a project I'm working on. It had been awhile since revisiting my artists statement and the thesis as an onchain memetic artists has become more clear the last few months. Chris, a native New Yorker, explores memetics and the collective consciousness in his artwork. His creative explorations probe how shared experiences, memories, imaginations, and even communal hallucinations weave into the fabric of our culture. As a cryptonative, Chris intertwines the ethos of shared digital and artistic spaces, pushing the boundaries of how art is created, perceived, and owned.
