Documents show that Grayscale has just submitted a Bitcoin spot ETF securities registration application (Form 8-A12B) to the U.S. SEC. Submission of a Form 8-A document constitutes registration, allowing the issuer to trade on the exchange once the product is approved. And marks progress on potential approval of a Bitcoin spot ETF.
