Weekly HighlightsA new feature was added to the CESS Network to reduce storage space declarations, preventing the issue of nodes being frozen due to accidentally declaring more storage space than their pledged amount.Improvements were made to the p2p file transfer mechanism, and issues, where storage nodes could not increase their pledge when the signing account differed from the pledge account, were fixed.A bug was fixed that prevented DeOSS from uploading files correctly due to improper usage of the node selection module.CESS participated in the “AMA: CollabFest 3.0” emphasizing our role in advancing data privacy and security in the Web3 ecosystem.Project Development DetailsThe CESS testnet has been updated to Venus (v0.7.7) and consists of a consensus node and a storage node. Consensus Node maintains the world state of the CESS network (by CESS Node) and serves as the “data authentication station” (by TEE Worker). By utilizing a DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure network) model, CESS drives mass deployment of network nodes globally through incentives. The first of its kind, DeOSS (decentralized object storage services) by CESS has significantly contributed to the gradual enrichment and flourishing of the product ecosystem within the CESS network, DeShare (online file sharing tool), and public chain snapshot storage services have been incubated.
