CESS showcased its innovative decentralized storage and content delivery network solutions during a livestream with PukeCastCN **Project Development Details** =============================== The [CESS](https://www.cess.cloud/) testnet has been updated to [v0.7.6](https://github.com/CESSProject/cess/releases/tag/v0.7.6) and consists of a consensus node and a storage node. **Consensus Node** maintains the world state of the [CESS](https://www.cess.cloud/) network (by CESS Node) and serves as the “data authentication station” (by TEE Worker). **Storage Node** provides verifiable storage space and serves as the “data storage pool” in the CESS network. 1. **Consensus Node \[**[**v0.7.6**](https://github.com/CESSProject/cess/releases/tag/v0.7.6)**\]** * Completed the development of CESS image-building scripts for the unified, convenient, and error-free building of various CESS program images. * Upgraded the nodeadm program to provide more concise, accurate, and clear user input prompts. * Upgraded the TEE Worker idle space proof algorithm library, optimizing the random challenge verification process to improve verification speed. * Added task processing time logs for various functions in the TEE Worker Ceseal program to monitor node task processing. **2\. Storage Node \[**[**v0.7.9**](https://github.com/CESSProject/cess-bucket/releases/tag/v0.7.9)**\]** * Completed the upgrade of the storage node’s idle space proof module, significantly reducing interactions with the TEE Worker. * Fixed an issue where storage nodes were unable to complete random challenge proofs within an effective timeframe due to disk read/write speed limitations.
