[CESS](https://www.cess.cloud/) co-founder Joseph Li participated in a discussion hosted by CESS on the topic “Will There Be a DePIN Summer in This Bull Market?” **Project Development Details** =============================== The [CESS](https://www.cess.cloud/) testnet has been updated to [v0.7.6](https://github.com/CESSProject/cess/releases/tag/v0.7.6) and consists of a consensus node and a storage node. **Consensus Node** maintains the world state of the [CESS](https://www.cess.cloud/) network (by CESS Node) and serves as the “data authentication station” (by TEE Worker). **Storage Node** provides verifiable storage space and serves as the “data storage pool” in the CESS network. 1. **Consensus Node \[**[**v0.7.7**](https://github.com/CESSProject/cess/releases/tag/v0.7.7)**\]** * Upgraded the config-gen program with multi-node configuration file management. * Completed the development of the multi-node management program, allowing users to manage multiple nodes simultaneously. * Completed testing of the TEE Worker DCAP remote authentication mode. **2\. Storage Node \[**[**v0.7.10**](https://github.com/CESSProject/cess-bucket/releases/tag/v0.7.10)**\]** * Fixed the issue of local idle space-proof status mismatch with the chain after recovering idle data. * Optimized the idle data generation algorithm, significantly reducing memory usage. * Upgraded the idle space-proof module of storage nodes, improving the efficiency of node dependency generation algorithms. The ongoing miner reward event in the CESS testnet incentivizes participation from storage and consensus miners, allowing them to earn points while contributing to the network’s growth and development. **Community Activities** ======================== * CESS announced partnerships with **Tech Tree Root**, a leading education nonprofit, and **JoJoWorld**, pioneers of “Mirror Reality, Ideal Life.” Tech Tree Root had hosted over 80,000 creatives, developers, and entrepreneurs, emphasizing diversity and innovation. JoJoWorld aimed to redefine digital experiences through a 3D world powered by Generative AI.
