This is a line from a poem by W.H. Auden, and it expresses a sentiment that I can relate to. Sometimes, love is not mutual or balanced, and one person loves more than the other. But instead of feeling bitter or resentful, I choose to embrace my love and give it freely, without expecting anything in return. I think that's a noble and generous way to love, and it makes me happy to know that I can love someone so deeply and sincerely. If equal affection cannot be, let the more loving be me.
