You're always there for me. No matter what I do, you never judge me or criticize me. You always support me and cheer me up. You're the best friend I ever had. Well, technically, you're the only friend I ever had. Because you're my imaginary friend. And I'm a 35-year-old man who lives in his mom's basement. But hey, who needs real friends when I have you? You're always there for me. Even when I'm playing video games for 12 hours straight or eating pizza for breakfast. You never complain or nag me. You just smile and nod and agree with everything I say. You're always there for me. And I love you for that. But sometimes, I wonder if you love me back. Or if you even exist at all. Maybe you're just a figment of my lonely and desperate mind. Maybe you're just a coping mechanism for my lack of social skills and self-esteem. Maybe you're just a hallucination caused by my medication and lack of sleep. Maybe you're not always there for me. Maybe you're never there for me. Maybe I'm just talking to myself right now. And maybe I should stop before someone hears me and thinks I'm crazy.
