**Introducing Chomp Legacy!**  
Chomp Legacy is about making a lasting impact that shapes the future. We're creating something enduring, turning our vision into cherished memories. This is where we innovate and stay agile, aligning with Chomp's core mission by experimenting with new ideas and focusing on what works best.

Chomp Legacy honors and expands on Chomp's recurring themes, featuring designs that resonate with our community. With each drop, we release **three new NFTs** based on a particular theme of Chomp. These NFTs celebrate and pay tribute to the core themes that define us.

As **Base Onchain Summer** heats up and we've submitted Legacy for the **Buildathon**, the Chompunity of Chompers has been asking, _"What is Chomp buidling?"_

**We're building a legacy**
---------------------------

Some of you know we come from **streetwear**.  
Everybody knows we Chomp in an **art studio**.  
Maybe you don't yet know, **we have our roots in NFTs.**

During the **Base Onchain Summer Buildathon**, Chomp developers have been putting all four orange paws to work on Chomp Legacy.  
Part staking, part minting, Chomp Legacy is the portal to transform Chomp into forever memories.

We're proud to participate in the **Onchain Summer Buildathon** with this, and thrilled to utilize **Base's cutting edge-toolkit,** including:

*   _Coinbase Smart Wallet_
    
*   _Onchain Kit -_ features including native Farcaster Frames
    
*   _Coinbase Paymaster_ and _Bundler_ for _Base Gasless transactions_ (see image below)
    
    **Additionally, we've built upon the:**
    
*   _Zora API_ for reading blockchain data, as well as favorite tools like
    
*   _wagmi,_ and
    
*   _WalletConnect_

What is Chomp Legacy?

Chomp Legacy is a limited edition NFT series that highlights the artistic themes of Chomp.

**How to obtain Chomp Legacy NFTs?**

1.  Stake Chomp 🐹
    
2.  Gather DOTS 🟠
    
3.  Mint Legacy 🌱
    

**The more Chomp you stake, the more DOTS you make**. DOTS gather over time, and once you have enough, you can mint Legacy!

Collectibles will be released in series of 3, with **three tiers of scarcity and value**. Legacy includes free mints for everyone, as well as rare mints for those who gather many DOTS 🟠.

We're excited to release the Legacy series, with each **trilogy** outlining core themes of **Chomp's brand and ethos**. The first trilogy illustrates Chomp's love of Luxury Sports, with a fresh clean style. Look forward to a Summer of Legacy series!
