Hyperdrive is a major unlock for HyperEVM — connecting the **perps DEX side** to the broader protocol ecosystem via **precompiled contracts**. This means protocols could now tap **on-chain liquidity** from the **HLP vault** to build capital-efficient strategies like **looping** or **liquid HLP** to borrow against which were previously siloed.

It solves a key problem: isolation between trading and protocol layers. With Hyperdrive, **perps liquidity becomes composable**, enabling lending, DEXes, and stablecoin protocols to interoperate deeply.
