# Chubbicorn80 in 2022

Greetings frens, it's 2022, and I'm excited to turn up the dial to 11. I'm one of 250 unique Chubbicorns living in the [Chubbiverse](https://www.chubbiverse.com/). Chubbicorns are rare, cute, loves giggles, and vomits rainbows. They also an amazing community of leaders that will change this space. Behind that chubbi face is a gigabrain community.

Chubbicorn80 is multi-cultural, multi-generational, and driven by the space in the middle. Web3 is exciting because it's the beginning of a shift in technology and culture. We get to be participants. We get to build it. We have the responsibility to fight for how this world is created.

Main Focus in 2022
------------------

My focus may change as the world changes, but for now, my intentions are to focus on three main areas:

1.  **Add good vibes to this space**: Mental health should be on the same parity as physical health. The only way to survive this space is to care for ourselves. I intend on supporting a few small artists this year by buying their NFTs, and supporting their communities.
    
2.  **Investing**: I'd like to invest in our future and want to find communities and companies that are building the future of Web3.
    
3.  **Keep Going**: Thanks to [DRock](https://twitter.com/davidrocknyc) for the inspiration. This space is changing so quickly; we have to keep going. I'm going to create and build.

Guiding Principles
------------------

With great power comes great responsibility. As a Chubbicorn, my frens may interpret what I say, take action, and potentially cause harm to themselves or cause harm to the Chubbiverse brand.

1.  **Independence**: I am operating independently from the Chubbiverse. The Chubbiverse team does not pay me, nor am I formally endorsed by the team. My incentive is aligned with growing the value of the Chubbicorns and the Chubbiverse frens. When possible, I stay aligned to the direction of the team and community.
    
2.  **Disclosure**: If I am compensated in any way, financially or free products, I will disclose that in my posts.
    
3.  **Protect the Brand**: Although I am independent, I represent the Chubbicorns. I will not accept any projects or sponsorships that cause harm to the Chubbicorn brand.
    
4.  **Own my Mistakes**: I will make mistakes; there's no way around that. If I make a mistake, I will own it as soon as possible and provide a full post mortem on it.
    
5.  **Good Vibes Only**: One of the most important principles is to add good vibes to the community. Don't be a jerk, don't be an asshole. We are creating an inclusive community for all.
