# GUIDE TO REGISTER AND PARTICIPATE IN CLOUDBASE IDO

CloudBase is excited to announce that our IDO event will take place at 2:00 PM UTC on August 15th. This article will guide everyone on how to register and participate in the CloudBase IDO.

For the IDO, CloudBase has two pools: the Guarantee Pool (for whitelisted participants) and the Overflow Pool (open to everyone).

**I. For the Guarantee Pool - users need to own Cloud Investor Tokens to complete registration and participate in the IDO:**

**Step 1:** Visit [CloudBase Registration](https://cloudbase.finance/launchpad?chainId=8453) to register for the IDO.

**Step 2:** Stake Cloud Investor Tokens (Users can stake up to 2 Cloud Investor Tokens).

**Step 3:** At 2:00 PM UTC, users can proceed to purchase $CLOUD.

**II. For the Overflow Pool - Everyone can participate:**

**Step 1:** Visit the [CloudBase Launchpad](https://cloudbase.finance/launchpad?chainId=8453).

**Step 2:** Deposit ETH to participate in purchasing $CLOUD (up to a maximum of $200 ETH value).
