Crypto trading firm Auros Global issued a supplementary statement in response to reports of its bankruptcy filing, stating that "Auros filed for 'low intervention' provisional liquidation, filed in early November, a debtor-in-possession reorganization mechanism to allow the current management to continue trading as authorized managers under the supervision of an external advisory firm while a restructuring plan is in place; following the successful implementation of the restructuring, it is expected that Auros' business will return to normal." In a statement released, Auros said the "low-intervention" provisional liquidation it applied for was fundamentally different from formal financial liquidation, which is usually used when a company's balance sheet is solvent but its cash flow is insolvent, and this Cash flow insolvency is a situation that can be remedied quickly and effectively through corporate restructuring. Auros said the application, which was granted by the British Virgin Islands Court on 23 November 2022, allows the affected Auros entities to explore potential restructuring options while continuing to operate under the agreed agreement under the supervision of the Joint Provisional Liquidators.
