# Philippine SEC Warns Public Against Unlicensed Crypto Exchanges

The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission has advised domestic investors against using unlicensed cryptocurrency exchanges, Cointelegraph reported. “In light of the recent collapse of a major global cryptocurrency exchange,” warned, “all entities conducting business in the Philippines must register with the Securities and Exchange Commission.”
