FTX is seeking up to $10 billion in emergency funding as it nears bankruptcy, according to a quasi-investment term sheet obtained by the Financial Times. There are two schemes provided in the letter of intent for investment, one is traditional investment, which is divided by investment method (equity and conversion, etc.) and scale (greater or less than 2.5 billion US dollars); the other is the so-called overall portfolio investment (all-together set ( AT)), the latter is similar to a crowdfunding campaign with a minimum goal, which involves launching an overall portfolio investment if the investor puts more than $6 billion into FTX in total, but the investor cannot specify any investment terms.
FTX also promised potential investors the option to convert to common stock at a post-money valuation of $15 billion, or FTX could unilaterally swap debt for equity at a post-money valuation of $12 billion.
