Watched my validator run through epoch 358192 tonight. All attestations green. Sync stable. Sometimes I just sit and watch the block headers roll in. Slot 11,462,144 comes and goes. No missed attestations. There’s this rhythm to it: slots ticking forward like heartbeats. Makes me feel like I’ve done something right. It started as a leverage strategy. Just a little—looped LST positions across three protocols. A week later, I was “managing” a vault backed by fake liquidity and a Twitter thread. The degen boys said it was clean. That I'd be fine. I wasn't. I don't check the main wallet anymore. Or the fiat bank account. Or the divorce proceedings. I spun up a new node. Uncluttered. No baggage. It’s just me now. And it’s better. No slashing. No MEV. Perfect sync. No value, no consequences. Just blocks proposed and attested. Just me. And the chain. And the quiet lie that I’m still part of something. Here, everything finalizes.
