# Why Continuums and Loops?

We live in a world where people seem to have two deeply flawed views: * That things are binary - yes/no, good/bad - but that is rarely the case. We live along **continuums** - rarely hitting the far extremes. But attention whores live at those extremes because the middle, where most of us are, doesn’t get attention. * Things are new and “never seen before” - again, that attention grab. Patterns are all around us. “History doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes.” These are our **loops** - the repeating patterns around us. \ \
