Our first shows in Japan are underway.

This week we announced the second show in our new Tokyo event series - this time with one of the most prolific artists in UKG named MPH.

We’ve been fortunate to drop over 20 tracks with MPH onchain including a number of exclusives only found on Coop Recs. He’s since gone on to play shows with Fred Again…, Disclosure and a ton of other industry leading acts ahead of what’s shaping up to be his biggest year yet.

We sold out the show in the first day, and we’re gearing up for our first two shows to take place back to back weekends at the top of April.

Pair this together with a more solidified pipeline to sign artists and release music on the label side and this spring is shaping up to be the start of a brand new era for Coop Recs.

We’re making a lot of changes to adapt and adjust to the market climate - but rest assured every song that comes out on Coop Recs will drop onchain. We’re pairing this with a newly refined mobile app - offering fans a way to get paid for making videos using songs in our catalog and clips from our shows.

Behind the scenes we’ve been ramping on digital ads, supporting artists on content rollouts and offering bespoke content services and fan pages to artists we’re the most excited about.

Taking a step back - Coop Recs is building the foundation is should have always had, allowing us to build a bridge back to digital ownership over a longer time horizon as the market corrects itself.

In the meantime - we’re sending love to all the crypto teams and founders going through tough times out there. We’re going through it too but we’re keeping our sights set on what matters. Supporting great music and great artists on their path to become household names.
