概率是指客观事务的统计学规律。可能性则是根据经验推断的。 在交换信封悖论中，逻辑上的错误是把可能性与概率混淆了。 玩家抽取到大红包还是小红包的概率，的确是50%，但是，当抽取这个动作完成后，其概率已经到达了100%。诚然，当我们事后总结的时候，会生成一种叫“可能性”的预测工具，然而，在具体的应用中，50%概率 x 100%可能性，不能等价于 100%概率 x 50%可能性。
