# Creed Ceremony #1                August 27th, 2025

On August 27th, 2025 Creed held our first-ever Ceremony. We went over our present standing and shared our view of the future with our community. Check out an overview of what took place below:

 **August Security Reviews:**

*   Completed security review for @Spire\_Labs
    
*   Currently working on BitYield audit
    
*   Growing pipeline of reviews scheduled for coming weeks
    

  **August** **Risk Assessments:**

*   Completed assessment for @lagoon\_finance
    
*   .@GetYieldFi assessment is in progress
    
*   Working on AI tooling to optimize the risk assessment review process while maintaining quality
    

 **Business Development:**

*   We have a few big ecosystem-level protocols in the pipeline (names coming soon! )
    
*   Building specialized sub-teams for different ecosystems/stacks
    
*   Looking beyond traditional BD toward productization opportunities
    

 **Governance Milestones:**

*   Welcomed first external Paladins: @lizdaldalian, .@33audits, .@tintinweb, and @t\_birb
    
*   Diligence joined as a company Paladin (entities can be Paladins too!)
    
*   First treasury proposal passed (legal retainer funding)
    

**Two-Tier Governance:**

*   **Paladin proposals**: One person, one vote (for system changes)
    
*   **Treasury proposals**: Coin voting with CREED tokens (for financial decisions)
    
*   We are building true cooperative governance in Web3
    

 **Treasury Share Redemption:**

*   New guidelines + web app for exiting Creed treasury shares
    
*   Immediate exit: 15% tax (discourages instability)
    
*   Annual window: 1.5% fee only (covers operational costs)
    
*   Flexibility with collective stability
    

 **The Creed Difference:**

*   Security Researchers have real say in how things work & 50/50 split revenue model between researchers for treasury for all client fees
    
*   We are building in public, figuring it out together
    
*   We equity positions like SAFEs, convertible notes, traditional equity vehicles
    

 **Looking for:**

*   New marketing agency (DMs open!)
    
*   Security researchers (Paladins) who want ownership in their work
    
*   Protocols needing security teams (not just one-off audits)
    
*   Companies wanting to join as Paladins
