# Tired of crypto buzzwords? So are we.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked on some of the most powerful and misunderstood, tools in crypto: stablecoins.

But my journey in this space didn’t start with a big job title or a venture-backed protocol. It started during the pandemic, when everything collapsed, and education felt like the only thing we could build.

So I created **100 Días de Research**.

A grassroots community.Zero funding.No grants.No tokens.Just curiosity and a shared need to understand this emerging world.

We hosted daily sessions. We learned about protocols, economic models, governance, privacy, regulation. And most importantly, we built something that _belonged to no one_ — and _served everyone_. Over time, it became one of the largest independent crypto communities in Latin America.

We were approached many times by projects offering funding. But we always declined.Because we wanted to stay free. Free to learn, to teach, to criticize, to support , without bias or pressure.

That’s still the spirit that guides everything I do in Web3.

**What We Actually Need to Build**

I’ve led growth campaigns at **Reserve, Telos** and **Moonwell**, helping onboard hundreds of thousands of users across Latin America, people who use crypto not as a buzzword, but as a lifeline.

Through that work, and through my legal advisory firm **LegalRocks**, I’ve seen up close what works, what doesn’t, and what’s missing.

And the biggest gap we still face isn’t a technical one.It’s a gap of **context**.

We don’t need yet another chain claiming TPS supremacy. We need infrastructure built for real-world users with real-world constraints.

Why I Joined Genesys Chain
--------------------------

That’s why I’m building with **Genesys Chain**.

It’s not the most hyped L1. But it’s grounded in something much more valuable: purpose.

Genesys is a Layer 1 built to power **real-world tokenization** — assets, labor, credit, local economies, especially in emerging markets where crypto can actually solve problems.

It’s not about “scaling Web3.” It’s about **anchoring Web3 to the real economy**.

Cheap fees. Fast finality. Open architecture. And most importantly, a vision that puts users at the center, not just liquidity.

Stablecoins Were Just the Beginning
-----------------------------------

If stablecoins gave us the first real use case for crypto at scale, tokenization is what comes next.Not just tokenizing stocks or real estate. **But tokenizing:**

*   Labor

*   Remittances

*   Reputation

*   Micro-assets

*   Community capital

This new cycle won’t be driven by billion-dollar funds or celebrity backers. It’ll be led by people who know what it’s like to build under pressure, with few resources, but clear intentions.

And yes, there’s something new coming on top of Genesys that taps directly into this mission. A lending and borrowing protocol built for the realities of Latin America and beyond.

But we’ll talk more about that soon.

* * *

For now, all I’ll say is: this isn’t about making crypto look good. It’s about making it **useful**.

If that’s what you’re here for, stick around. We’re just getting started.

_Written by someone who still believes education is the most radical form of infrastructure. And that freedom — to learn, to build, to speak — is worth more than funding._
