# Why Bert?

Hello to all crypto enthusiasts! Today, I want to tell you about a truly cool project and an equally impressive founder. I’ll go over how to participate in it, why I believe it’s promising, and the date of the mint. Just to be clear, I’m not writing this for money or whitelist spots I’m simply sharing my thoughts on people and projects that I genuinely like. After three years in crypto, you start to see the gold amidst the noise.

**So, what is this project, and who created it?**

[Bert](https://x.com/BERTonAPE) launched on October 22, 2024, as a meme coin on the ApeCoin network. Not long after, its announced founder an upcoming NFT mint on Magic Eden to bring the community together and add to the fun. The _mint_ will take place **on November 5**.

The founder, [Neon](https://x.com/NeonApesYC), is someone I’ve been following for a while and have joined in several of his projects. These have always brought not only profit but also a welcoming and friendly community. As an example, he once raffled off a capitalization of his token among all holders, and the luckiest even received a Mutant NFT.

So, the first marker of a potential gem is here: a top-tier founder. Second, the project boasts a vibrant community and a unique idea.

**Why Bert?** The NFT mint is set to launch on [_Magic Eden_](https://x.com/MagicEden) on the trending _Ape blockchain_. Just take a look at how many multiples stolen NFTs from popular projects are currently yielding on that platform!

But this is an original concept: an NFT backed by a fan token. While it’s not a 100% guarantee of success, it’s certainly promising and not just another scam.

How to get on the allowlist? There are three phases. The first phase requires you to hold at least 500k Bert coins, which is for those unafraid of risking some capital. If you’re not ready to buy coins, phase two offers WL raffles on Twitter. And for the lazy but lucky, there’s phase three public mint (although it’s unlikely anything will be left, as the supply is just **3,333**). By the way, the price is **5 APE**.

**In closing,** remember not to take excessive risks. Always do your own research. The crypto market is often more about fun and community-building than anything else. Yes, there’s profit, but these meme coins are created to grow the community, the ecosystem, and yes, profit too. Always think and analyze for yourself.
