# Discovering the Lamers' metaverse

It's rare to find NFT collections with such an articulated concept. Yet, the **Lamers Lab** team has managed to make the project captivating well before the launch of the collection. The project was born from the shared experiences of three friends passionate about blockchain and NFTs with the aim of leaving a mark in the NFT universe and contributing to the development and growth of the blockchain community.

If you take a look at their [**website**](https://www.lamerslab.xyz/), you will be fascinated by the interactive comics and, most likely, you will be drawn into the **Lamers Playground**, an engaging Arcade Game playable for free. By accumulating points, both the collection's holders and other users can obtain benefits in the Lamers ecosystem.

On **June 27**, the black and white collection created by **Lele Gastini**, composed of 888 pieces, will finally see the light on **Base Network**. The minting price is 0.02222 ETH and, if you are not on the allowlist, you will probably have to fight to get an NFT. "We are very excited about minting. Base is a steadily growing ecosystem, and we believe that placing the launch during Onchain Summer will give even more visibility to the collection," commented a team member I contacted for writing the article. But Lamers are not just digital art. Take a look at the [**physical cards**](https://cards.lamerslab.xyz/) created specifically for NFT-related events in Lisbon and Lugano. In the future, a complete collection of Lamers-branded playing cards is planned to be released. The launch of **official merchandise** is also scheduled, with a limited and personalized collection reserved for NFT holders.

If the features already presented were not enough, I'd like to highlight the "[**Learn with Lamers**](https://learn.lamerslab.xyz/)" section, already available on the [website](https://learn.lamerslab.xyz/), which will allow collectors unfamiliar with the blockchain world to learn the fundamental concepts of the technology, configure a wallet, and prepare for minting. The **onboarding** of new users and the mass adoption of blockchain technology are part of Lamers Lab's mission.

Once the collection is sold out, holders will be able to contribute to the development of the narrative through participation in the project's **governance**, transforming the Lamers story into a **tale directed by the community** itself. This is a unique feature that makes the collection even more appealing to potential collectors. The **Lamers community** will be constantly powered through events and contests that will allow holders to interact and collaborate in the development of the project.
