An NFT should offer more value than a few rare traits that guarantee its scarcity. At CryptoAnime, we believe that NFTs should derive their value from the story they tell. Our NFTs play an essential role in an ongoing narrative, providing creative utility, meaning and purpose designed to push the story forward while unlocking new sources of income for the collaborating artists. Hekonai is a "meta-narrative.” Its outer layer is designed to include everything you need in quality storytelling: distinctive characters, interesting events, relatable themes, a gamut of emotions, exotic settings, dramatic tension, plenty of excitement. But that's not all it offers: on a second, deeper level, the unfolding plotline reflects the development of CryptoAnime itself in allegorical form. The idea is to offer entertainment that also weaves in commentary about NFTs, cryptofinance, Web3 and all the other brave new frontiers our company will explore. Hekonai enters this storyline as a forgotten comic figure from the first anime. He becomes self-aware and takes control of his destiny as he travels into the metaverse to achieve his long-held dream of becoming a legendary samurai. His process of transformation drives a narrative that establishes meaning, purpose and utility for the NFTs that will explore the complexities of his new life as someone who can travel through several universes: animated, technological, even human life. The story and digital assets will be complementary and interconnected in this meta-narrative format, each giving rise to the other as they interact with each other across multiple storylines and universes... including some generated by NFT holders.
