# ConsenSys zkEVM Testnet (Potential Airdrop)

ConsenSys zkEVM is a type 2 zero knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM). A zkEVM replicates the Ethereum environment as a rollup, and allows developers to build on it as they would on Ethereum mainnet.

The ConsenSys zkEVM network allows you to deploy any smart contract, use any tool, and develop as if you’re building on Ethereum. For users, this enables the experience and security guarantees of Ethereum, but with lower transaction costs.

ConsenSys zkEVM currently in testnet and I hope you all have joined the whitelist registration earlier.

You might have recently received an email from Infura asking you to enter the testnet if your whitelisted, as shown below.

Just search “Infura” on your Gmail Dashboard

Now we can proceed to the ConsenSys zkEVM testnet.

Goerli ETH token: [https://goerlifaucet.com/](https://goerlifaucet.com/)

*   You need to signup on Infura platform
    
*   Register here if not: [https://www.infura.io/](https://www.infura.io/)
    
*   Create new key & select network Web3 API

*   Select the ConsenSys zkEVM Testnet endpoint

*   Now we can bridge between Goerli to zkEVM
    
*   Select Source Chain and Destination Chain
    
*   Enter Amount and Click **SEND**

*   Confirm in the blockchain
    
*   Wait until it reaches to the destination chain

*   You need to bridge between the zkEVM to Goerli network
    
*   Test other platforms that uses zkEVM
