Scroll is a new Layer-2 solution aiming at providing unlimited scalability, lightning-fast confirmation latency, full decentralization, and trustless privacy. It does so by building upon zk-Rollup and high-performance off-chain distributed systems.

### How is Scroll different from the other Layer 2s?

Unlike other Layer 2s, Scroll works directly on Layer 1 and allows complete composability with Ethereum dApps and between Layer 2s. Scroll also takes a new approach to generate zk-proofs off-chain using GPU power.

*   Get Some Faucet

*   Go to Bridge to transfer the ETH from L1 to L2
    
*   Select Goerli and Enter ETH
    
*   Click **Send ETH to Scroll Alpha Testnet**
