# Taiko Alpha-2 Testnet (Potential Airdrop)

Taiko scales Ethereum in a manner that emulates Ethereum as closely as possible — both technically and non-technically. More specifically, Taiko is an Ethereum-equivalent ZK-Rollup, scaling Ethereum by supporting all EVM opcodes in a layer-2 architecture that is decentralized, permissionless, and secure.

Taiko launched in Alpha 1 testnet and few months back, those who tried the Alpha would be eligible for POAPs on Galxe platform.

**However, they now launched the Alpha 2 testnet and you can participate in the Layer 2 testing.**

The project is going to Launch it’s Mainnet in Early 2024 and trying now is always worth in my opinion👀

*   Go to: [**https://bridge.a2.taiko.xyz/#/**](https://bridge.a2.taiko.xyz/#/) And Use Bridge To Transfer ETH From **Sepolia (L1) to Taiko (L2)**
    
*   Enter Amount And Click Bridge
    
*   It Takes Some Times To Reach The Destination
    
*   Also Use Bridge In Vice Versa(L2 →l1)

*   You Need To Claim Token From L2 By Clicking **CLAIM**.

*   You Need To Claim **HORSE** and **BLL** Tokens By Clicking The Faucet.
    
*   Then Bridge Both Of The Tokens To Taiko Layer 2.
