With a note that Calimero’s private shards don’t use NEAR’s validators, execution and state storage. Which additional benefits does Calimero bring? 1. Even greater scalability & cost efficiency - The transactions within your private shard are FREE and fast. With throughput of 200.000 transactions per second. Bridging the assets or calling data is fast (5-10sec) and cheap (it costs a couple of cents). 2. Making part (or all) of your transactions private, with only people/entities with the access to the shard being able to view the data. 3. Customizable - Choose the amount of validators and nodes, as well as the type of data/assets you want to work with, define the block times, gas limits, relayer speed, permissions, contract sizes and much more! 4. EVM compatibility - You can use @auroraisnear to move your DApp already built on Ethereum to NEAR (instead of building them from scratch). 5. Interoperability - Shards can communicate with the @NEARProtocol mainnet, and between themselves (each shard can represent a different company or parts of the same company), and thanks to the bridge, multiple different types of assets can be transferred.WASM compatibility - The standard used in most browsers.Javascript support for easy onboarding to web3.
