# MilkySwap test operation tutorial

MilkySwap is a customized decentralized exchange for Cardano based on the Milkomeda sidechain.MilkySwap allows you to swap tokens with low fees, faster transaction times and minimal slippage, while also enabling you to connect Cardano tokens to Ether.MilkySwap uses a combination of SushiSwap and CurveDAO farming combined with a farming model.

MilkySwap uses the Milkomeda sidechain to solve many of the problems that other DEXs face when working on the Cardano mainnet.

Milkomeda is the EVM sidechain of the Cardano network. It introduces the concept of "wrapped smart contracts" that can be called directly from the mainnet blockchain without the user leaving their mainnet wallet. An attractive use case for Milkomeda is to provide EVM smart contract functionality for non-EVM blockchains. This is what the Milkomeda Private Alpha test network will be testing using the Cardano test network and an EVM-based sidechain called M1, which uses packaged ADA as its underlying asset for paying fees and gas.

Here is the start of our testing tutorial.

1、Install Flint Wallet

2、Create a wallet. Note here, select Testnet

3、Little Fox Wallet Set Milkomeda Testnet

Network name: Milkomeda Testnet

New RPC URL: [https://cronos-testnet-3.crypto.org:8545](https://cronos-testnet-3.crypto.org:8545)

Chain number: 338

Currency symbol (optional): TCRO

Block Explorer URL (optional): [https://cronos.crypto.org/explorer/testnet3](https://cronos.crypto.org/explorer/testnet3)

4、Get cardano test coins

5、Get MilkADA

Open the Flint Wallet window and click "Send". On the next screen, enable the "Milkomeda Mode" toggle, paste the Milkomeda Testnet wallet address currently in the clipboard into the "Milkomeda Ether Address" field, and enter the amount to be sent. Then click "Continue".

The transfer requires 10 confirmations and takes about 5 minutes. After confirming the transaction, the transferred MilkADA should be visible in your Testnet wallet in MetaMask.

6、Access the test network and connect your wallet

11/1Add the number of locked $MILKY tokens and the time period for which they are locked. The amount of CREAMY received is related to the length of time the $MILKY tokens are locked. 1 locked $MILKY equals 1 CREAMY
