While _Cult-Dao_ is here to forge a new _decentralised_ world, _Revolt_ is here to put itself ‘upon the gears and upon the wheels’ of the existing _centralised_ one. _“The system functions to keep our eyes trained on the gladiator we are fighting. Because if we stop looking at our pitted opponent, then we lose everything.”_—Mr O’Modulus \[_Revolt_ Manifesto\] For too long, borders and _beliefs_ have separated us, getting in the way of global solutions to global problems. The technical problems we face today require a methodical approach rather than an ideological one. D3MASK-2-REVEAL --------------- _Decentralisation_, come on down (and up, and left, and right). In _Web3_, code is law and there’s something beautifully pure about that. There’s no bias or prejudice towards any particular sex, race, religion or whatever. As far as the code & smart-contracts are concerned, it’s simply populated with random and anonymous hexadecimal wallet addresses. Even if someone did decide to attach a more personal, more memorable _Web3_\-name to their _Web3_\-wallet, then they’re still under no obligation to reveal their personal identity. Not only does the listener remove any prejudgment or prejudice they might otherwise have about the speaker, but so too does the speaker tend to lose inhibitions due to not feeling judged themselves. This is a fundamental proposition of _Web3_ and one which can hopefully foster a more objective discourse, with regards to the global problems we face as a society today. _Revolt_ as a protocol is there to offer funding to those _individuals_ unafraid of letting their voice be heard and speaking out against our current _centralised_ system. Although, even if the voices of the many are successful in putting a spanner in the works of the old world, there still needs to be a way of ensuring the new world is not built by the same _few_ that built the old one. This is where _CULT-Dao_ comes in, which looks to ‘fund _protocols_ furthering _decentralisation’_. ### NFT-2-REVOLT “Each 15 Days 480 stakers (+20 consistent _NFT_ owners) are picked randomly from all _RVLT_ stakers (_uRVLT_ owners). **These 500 (known as _CULTmanders_) have the job of approving or disapproving submissions by users, of actions they have taken to help the _CULT_ ecosystem and _Revolt_”.** —Taken from _Revolt_ manifesto. This gives everyone a fair opportunity to be a _CULTmander_ and have their say on which proposals get funded and which ones don’t, regardless of the size of someone’s holdings. The only ones who are consistently able to vote are holders of their _NFT_. This further demonstrates the multitude of potential use cases for _NFTs_, and the fundamental value this brings.
