PROBLEM: Signups to Farcaster are decreasing. Content is being proposed as a solution.
PROPOSAL: What if Farcaster created an incubator for channel founders in which one of the outcomes was a channel specific content plan?
Farcaster is working on user growth (and by extension, on increasing DAU and referrals), and Dan Romero has zeroed in on content (and rightly so, because decentralization won't be a strong enough driver for retention), pointing to "not enough interesting content" as one of the reasons why registrations have dropped over time.
One of the things that makes Farcaster/Warpcast interesting are the channels...but it is also what makes it challenging. If you think of each channel as its own community, each channel should be considered on its own on how it grows, creates content, and builds its own rituals.
Dan acknowledges the importance of figuring out how to drive content, specifically in channels:

I propose that Farcaster put some money and attention into an incubator and accelerator for channel founders.
Incentivizing content creation can start at the top, with those who stand most to benefit from keeping the content wheels churning (channel owners). Rather than a scattershot approach to “better content”, focus on developing a content plan for specific channels.
Provide mentoring and classes focusing on: growing their channel, community building, creating a content plan, developing a plan to monetize a channel (which will likely be different for each one), video creation, and marketing.
Run a pitch competition. Have interested channel owners pitch why they should be involved in a channel incubator/accelerator.
See how it improves content creation. My guess is that, overtime, the results will be substantial.
