# DAOSurv: Making DAO Survive

This is the first introduction to DAOSurv - a collection of tools to make DAOs survive longterm. Why we started DAOSurv? We believe that DAOs are moving to be [the future of how people work](https://future.com/the-future-of-work-daos-crypto-networks/) collectively on the internet and we saw that visibility is needed to onboard new people to each DAOs to promote new waves of DAO’s contributor strengthening its decentralization. DAOSurv was also an ETHGlobal hackathon project. We were grateful to be one of the DAOHacks finalist winners. This opportunity drives us to continue builder journey on DAOSurv mission 🚀.

How?
----

Most of DAO activity lives onchain and in closed private space (Discord, Telegram etc). This information gap acts as a barrier for new people / outsider to join those DAO which may be harmful for the DAO itself in the long run. Increasing its visibility of DAO could onboard new talent, enhance peer review and could helps DAO grows longterm. DAOSurv integrates alerts for DAO onchain movement and polls for governance proposal. Both alerts and poll are broadcasting it to public social channel in hope to gain enough sentiments for analytic feedback loop back to DAO itself. See ETHGlobal showcase below for more detail
