# Gitcoin Grants Round 15 By [daqhris](https://paragraph.com/@daqhris) ยท 2022-10-06 --- Before heading into the cold weather season, I participated to a new round of funding for blockchain-based software projects on Gitcoin. The **Gitcoin Grants Round 15** ran from **September 7-15, 2022**. Close to **$4.4M** will be distributed to **1,495 grants** for public goods. Since 2017, [Gitcoin.co](http://Gitcoin.co) runs a grants round every quarter. Historically, some cornerstone dApps, like [Uniswap](https://app.uniswap.org/), [1inch](https://go.gitcoin.co/blog/from-grantee-to-funder-1inch) and [Snapshot](https://snapshot.org/#/), have been launched thanks to this kind of web3-native fundraising initiatives. My personal contribution **75 DAI** (~75.75 EUR). An allocation of 5 DAI was granted to every one of the 15 projects founded.
